Your profile, currency, notifications and ways to sign in, a copy of all your data as a ZIP file, and deleting your account.

You reach your account from the account menu at the top of the page. Your profile – a name, a few words about yourself, your country – is optional and kept with your sign-in rather than by BrickDb, and your avatar is a picture you upload or one of ours. BrickDb never sees your password: it, your e-mail address and any second factor are held by our sign-in provider. On your account page you choose the currency prices are shown in, connect further ways to sign in, choose your notifications, see what the automatic content check held back, and can ask to help test BrickDb. Take a copy of your data downloads everything BrickDb holds about you, and Delete your account removes it.

How do I download or delete my data?

Take a copy of your data, on your account page, downloads everything BrickDb holds about you as a ZIP file, made when you ask for it and with nobody else's data in it. Delete your account first shows you what would go – how many sets, minifigures, part lots, photos and MOCs – and you confirm by typing a word. Your collection, your photos and your sign-in account are deleted, and that cannot be undone. Backups run out on their own schedule, after 35 days at the latest, and the bag codes you identified stay, with your name taken off.

Which cookies does BrickDb use, and when?

BrickDb loads no measurement before you choose. Usage statistics and session recordings are each switched on only if you agree, and Cookies, in the footer, lists everything the website stores on your device and lets you change your choice at any time. The apps ask you themselves before they collect any app statistics. Under Notifications you choose how BrickDb may reach you, and promotional messages stay off until you switch them on.
