Find any set by its name, its number or its theme
Search the whole catalogue by name or number, narrow it by theme, year, size and value, or browse every LEGO® theme from the top down.
Type a set number or a name into the search. A set number finds the set straight away; a name lists every set that carries it, with the matching minifigures and parts shown after the sets. If nothing matches, BrickDb offers the closest names it knows. The filters beside the result narrow it by theme, release year, number of pieces and minifigures, box weight, whether the set is still sold or retired, and its value in your currency; signed in, you can also show only the sets you own, the ones you do not, or the ones on your wishlist. Themes are a second way in: every theme lists its sub-themes and its sets, and its count includes everything beneath it.

How do I search for a LEGO set by number or name?
Type the number or a word of the name into the search. A set number such as 10305 opens the set directly, and a number that belongs to more than one version of a set lets you pick the one you mean. A name lists every matching set, followed by the minifigures and parts whose names match. A search that finds nothing offers the closest names BrickDb knows, so a typing mistake does not end the search.
Which filters and sort orders does the set search offer?
The filters narrow the sets by theme, release year, number of pieces, number of minifigures, box weight as weighed by Brickset, availability – still sold or retired – and value bands in your own currency. You can sort by relevance, by newest or oldest, by name, by pieces, by box weight or size, or by value. Signed in, one more filter shows only the sets you own, the ones you do not own, or the ones on your wishlist. Every other filter is part of the address, so a filtered list can be bookmarked and shared.

Frequently asked questions
Can I find a LEGO® set by its set number?
Yes. Type the set number into BrickDb's search and it opens that set; if the number belongs to more than one version of the set, you choose the one you mean.
Can I see which LEGO sets are retired?
Yes. The availability filter shows only the sets that are still sold, or only the ones that are retired, by the dates BrickDb knows; a set whose date is not known is filed as not known rather than guessed.
How do I see every set of one LEGO theme?
Open Themes and choose the theme. Its page lists its sub-themes and its sets with their piece counts and release years, and the count on each theme includes everything beneath it.
